HARD WORK IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS

HARD WORK IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS

As a word success is indeed very sweet. Everybody wants it. But it cannot be taken for granted. Every student wants success in the examination and works hard to achieve it. A businessman wants success in his business. A surgeon wants to perform a successful operation and a lawyer wants that he should be successful in winning a case. “Success in life” is a common term for all. A student’s success in an examination is just not enough unless he is able to utilize his knowledge thus gained in later life.

All parents want that their children should be successful in life and they spend whatever they can do to help them achieve their aim. Still all men are not successful in life. Some work extremely hard but luck does not smile on them. Others don’t work so much and still they get success, name and fame. One can say that in certain cases, chance does play its part.

Sometimes a person gets an opportunity for success and he benefits himself of it without delay. And there may be others, more intelligent and hardworking, who may never get an opportunity for success and progress in life. This is, however, not true in all the cases. If we study the lives of successful men carefully, we realize that such men have worked very hard at one time or the other in their lives. Even hard work is not enough, unless this hard work is done in a systematic and well-planned manner. A particular student may study whole night but may not do well in the examination.

But there may be another who put in just a fraction of the labour but may come out with huge breakthrough. So, proper planning and thoughtful arrangement of material are essential to be successful in life, may be an examination, an interview or any other activity. To this, must be added proper guidance which can be provided only by a highly qualified and experienced person. Many believe, particularly in the modern corrupt world, that unjust methods such as flattery, bribery, favouritism, egotism, etc., are essential for success. Of course, we should not deny that corruption and malpractices exist on a large scale. But unless we stop trying nothing can turn us down, not even we ourselves. Therefore, we need self-realization and determination to follow the right path by overcoming all the hindrances that may lay on our way to get the fruit of success. So don’t get distracted from your goal and have patience to taste the fruitful outcome of your venture.
